Salt generator turns on and after a click turns off

I have AQR-CUL salt generator. I noticed green stuff forming at the corners of the pool. When I checked the controller all the lights were off and the display was on with salt level of 2600. I made sure the current limiting resistor was visually OK(AS32 2R025). I put the board back in the power and generating chlorine LED turned on. However after a while I heard a click and all LED lights turned off. Also I noticed a big drop in salt reading to 700 (in matter of an hour). Below are the diagnostic values
With Super chlorination ON
700, 71, 4.2, 0.00, 52p, 0, AL-0, r1.58, T-15

With chlorination OFF
700, 71, 6.0, 0.00, 52p, 0, AL-0, r1.58, T-15

This is the basic information we need to know in diagnosing a problem:

• Report all diagnostic readings when you..
  • Move the switch from auto to off and check all of the readings.
  • Move the switch back to auto and recheck the readings.
  • Move the switch to off for a minute and then back to auto and recheck the readings.
• What are the first seven characters of the cell and box serial numbers?
• What is the actual salinity and how are you measuring it?
