Recently replaced the PCB in an Aqua Rite control panel. The yellow wire from the transformer was burnt, the spade terminal and the fuse socket on the board were also burnt. The other yellow wire from the transformer to the rectifier is also showing signs of excess heat. The transformer electrical specs checked out according the the Aqua Rite manual so did not replace the transformer which is at least 5 years old. Transformer is now hot to the touch which was not the case before the board replacement. Bad transformer approaching the end of its life?
