Hello everyone, my Hayward aquaplus salt cell has given up the ghost it looks like. Here's my display
board #'s, +31.98V, +0.00A, 68 degrees 0000ppm. What's the verdict?

This is the basic information we need to know in diagnosing an problem:
  • Report all readings when you..
    • Move the switch from auto to off and check all of the readings.
    • Move the switch back to auto and recheck the readings.
    • Move the switch to off for a minute and then back to auto and recheck the readings.
  • What are the first seven characters of the cell and box serial numbers?
  • What is the actual salinity and how are you measuring it?

Hi ajw22 , sorry I haven't had time to respond to my post. I did take cell and had it checked and it's bad.
Now to figure out how to replace it, new ones are 1k and generic ones $3-600 , rebuilt $495. Complicating
matters my wife is out on disability and finances are tight. May have to go generic vs rebuilt for this replacement.
Which idea would be better? Thanks
