Safety rope anchors

I did not have any anchors for my safety rope in my vinyl liner kit so now I need to figure something for a retro fit. I purchased some coping mounts that were for this purpose but they are very curved for a curved style coping. My pool has the snap loc coping that is flat. Does anyone have any experience with this?
