Pool water is clear, here are our readings... is it safe to swim?
I know our CYA is 65 so FC should be around 8 according to your chart, im having issues getting it to 8. Pool calculator says add 2 jugs of 12% but that hasnt been doing it.

FC=3
CC=.5
CYA=65
TA=100
PH=7.5
CH=475
TEMP=83

I believe our pool is more around 30000 instead of 25. The pool inspector said 25000 but we have a large deep end and snall shallow end. Also all the suggested items for 25000 have never been enough. So this season i have treated it as 30000. Need to change my signature :)

Safe to swim? ...... once you increase the FC to the recommended range - yes. The bigger question though is why is the FC disappearing so fast? You might want to do an overnight (OCLT) test as seen on the TFP Pool School - Perform the Overnight FC Loss Test (OCLT) page. Even though the water is clear, perhaps there is still an excessive organic load eating the chlorine. If so, it's best to get it right away. But definitely increase that FC right away. I'd go to about 10 for today and maybe even let it stay at 10 tonight for your OCLT if you do one. Hope that helps.

Ok so i got the levels up as you said. Added some on Wednesday and on Thursday added 2 bottles of 10%. On Friday, numbers were as follows:
FC=10.5
CC=.5
CYA=50
TA=110
PH=7.5
We were going out of town for the weekend. So went ahead and added 2 more bottles of 10% on Friday.
Today, Monday, just measured and the numbers are as follows:
FC=12
CC=.5
CYA=50
TA=100
PH=7.7
That means we are keeping FC now right?!?! :)
I guess i have to work the chlorine back down to 8 as target now.
Can i still swim with FC of 12??
