My Maytronics S200 is only 1.5 years old and has quit working over the last few months. Originally it just wasn't going through the whole pool during each session then it got to where it would only stay in one section of the pool and now it will power on but only move forward for about 30 seconds and quit. I took it apart and found hair all wrapped around the impeller and removed that thinking it would fix it but it didn't. I pulled it back out and did the upside down test and it never runs backwards only forward and never shuts off. I took everything apart and put it all back together and haven't found any other problems that could be causing this. Any ideas?

Other than making sure the top impeller is moving freely, there is not much you can do.
It should have a two year warranty, so now is the time to send it in.
