Rusted Mount on Hayward Powerflo Matrix Pump Model SP15932STL

The mount at the base of my Hayward Powerflo Matrix pool pump has a severe rust problem from leaky connections over the last couple of years. The pump is less than 4 years old, so I don't want to replace it. I have seen some "mounting feet" which screw into the base and the pump rests on it. However, they do not list my model SP15932STL, so I'm not sure it would work for mine or perhaps my model is too old to be listed. Has anyone purchased one of these for the above model? If so, did you have any issues?

Can you post some picture of the pump and base? We have disassembled and stored the base for the season and brought the pump in the house to store separately. I'm not sure these pictures will be good enough for you, but feel free to ask any questions.

I'm assuming the last picture is the mounting point for the base of the pump. Is there a reason you don't want to use bolts and nuts with fender washers? You really want to mount the pump vs having it floating on its own feet...

The rust ate a hole through the corner of the mounting. I can probably get another year or so mounting it to the platform ( for some reason, that picture didn't post), but if the pump continues to work, and the rust continues (I've removed as much as I could) I will need another solution, eg. glue or Weld it to a metal plate, drill holes in it and bolt that, a custom built cradle bolted to the base or some sort of metal strapping. Thinking ahead, since off season is a better time of year to address this issue.

That seems to be a ongoing problem. My last two pumps had rusted mounts. I just finished wire wheeling my current pump and base, priming and repainting it.

Welding a plate on sounds like a solution - as long as there is something left to weld the plate to.
