Rust Stains on Liner and Skimmers

Hi,

I have these rust stains on my skimmers and liner around my skimmers. I converted the steel wall inground pool to salt when I got a new liner in 2016. I don't think I am loosing water.

Should I just use the vitamin C to try and clean it off? Should I contact pool company to check seals around skimmer?

For just that area, place several Vitamin C tablets in a thin sock or nylon, crush them up a bit, and rub it on the area. It should lift the stains until such time whatever is rusting will make new stains return.
