I’ve had several rust like stains pop up on the floor of my pool in the shallow end and I’m not sure what’s causing it or how to remove it. Last month I had a project done to pool up all the tile/decking around the pool to put a concrete foundation around it which resulted in a lot of dirt/debris getting into the pool. The contractor vacuumed all the debris out and cleaned the pool filters and I added extra chlorine when there was a lot of debris in pool.
All my water parameters have been at or near re intended targets in my pool math app.
I may have noticed one of these spots before the work but now there are a lot more. My pool is about 5yrs old. I put some vitamin C in a sock and tried rubbing it on the stains and that didn’t seem to make a difference. When I feel the spots with my fingers, I don’t feel any damage or pits in the surface.
Any advice or suggestions?
