I am running out of PH Reagent - R-0014. Without having to order one online and wait a few days - is there a local store I can pick it up? Would a Pool Store have the same reagent as my TF-Pro?

I pinky promise if I walk into a Pool Store, I won't buy anything or fall for their gimmicks :ROFLMAO: Menards has something that resembled R-0014, I just don't know if I trust that...

Thanks friends!

You can likely find it as part of one of the simple comparator block test kits (alongside the OTO chlorine test) sold at big box stores / hardware stores.

But I buy R-0014 on Amazon as I test pH a lot.

Last time I checked around here several years ago, no one carried the R-0014 reagent. They all had the R-R0004 reagent.

One store told me R-0004 was the same thing. That didn’t make sense to me, so I contacted Tayor, who confirmed they are NOT the same and not interchangeable.

You can use your discount to buy it at TFtestkits.net :poke:

I made the new-girl mistake of not ordering it when I reordered the TA and FC reagents... duh Jessie, duh... 🤦‍♀️

This is what Menards is selling too - do we trust it?

It's "probably" the same as the Clorox branded one I got at Walmart.
I did test the Clorox kit results against the TFTestkit reagents I had left and the results were the same.

Ooh that's a good idea. I might swing by and get the Menards one and have it as my "back up" until my good Taylor one shows up.
