Running equipment 24/7 for two weeks?

In my area, there is a tiered pricing structure. Tier 1 and 2 is fairly normal. I hit the 3rd tier which had overage use surcharge. That surcharge was a 3rd of my bill and that alone was more than what my bill normally would be.

I think the bulk of most of my electricity bills is in mysterious "delivery" charges and such. The actual increased power usage doesn't seem to make as much difference.

Taxes and fees are about 10% of my bill. ‘Power and delivery surcharge’ is 50% of my bill. The actual 40% of usage is usually cheap by comparison.

I think that is why I didn't notice the extra power use as much - there's so much other Crud they slide into the charges lol.
