Recently installed Hayward Omnilogic and Hayward VSP 950 pump. Installer left after setting everything up and - surprise, surprise - nothing is working. I managed to get the pump going by putting the system into "service mode". While I wait for this joker to get back out here and fix things (he is saying 1 week), I need to be able to have some control over the pump. The local display screen on the pump doesn't show anything. I'm assuming the controls and display are useless because it is set to be remotely controlled via the omnilogic board.
Is there a way for me to just get this pump back into stand-alone mode? Do I have to physically disconnect the omnilogic panel to make that happen?
New to Hayward. With my prior Pentair system, putting the system into service mode woke the local pump controls up and I could control from there. Doesn't seem to be the case with Hayward.
