Routine Cl Additions

Just wondering now that I am completely off stabilized chlorine tablets and using liquid chlorine only in my 29,000 gallon vinyl lined inground pool, how often do I normally need to add chlorine to maintain appropriate sanitation levels. I mean, I’m glad I’m not using the tablets anymore, but the tablets were a little bit more convenient because I could put them in the chlorine feeder and fill the feeder and not have to think about it but now it seems like I’m going to have to add chlorine occasionally Which is fine, but I just need to figure out what I’m gonna do when I go on vacation and I’m away from the house and the pool for a while. I guess there’s no such thing as a liquid chlorine feeder?

There are chlorine feeders, 2 kinds. Liquid pumps and salt water chlorine generators.

Most swear by their chlorine generators as the easiest way to care for your pool...set the time and duration and forget about it. Well worth the expense.

During swim season chlorine typically needs to be added daily. You sometimes might be able to go every other day, but I would not chance it.
