We PASSED inspection! He had it done before I even knew he was here! This pool is officially done being built for 2013! One less thing to worry about.

Now I have to drain some water off. It's been one wet summer!!!
:whoot:  :whoot:

Good luck with everything.....we are thinking about y'all :-D

Great news that you passed and the pool is done!! Continued prayers for Jim.

We've had some wonderful weather the past week for Pa., but today the rain has hit. Not sure how much longer a pool season we have left. I think I'm a little north of you.

Jim is going in for brain surgery tomorrow. They are looking to relieve pressure.

It's a floor pad. Like felt. Had some pieces of glass and chunks of other material in the hillside. I knew we were going to run into it. It's like gorilla pad, Happy Bottom... I can't remember.

Took Jim back down to the trauma center for surgery and they called it off. Dr wants to wait it out.

Jim is having brain surgery before the end of the week. I took him in on Monday and the dr read his ct scan and said all the blood/fluid on the left side of his brain has gone down but it is increasing on the right side. It's bigger than it was 2 weeks ago. We just did all the blood work for pre op and I have to take him in for clearance today. The surgery will probably be Thursday or Friday.

Jimmy came out of surgery an hour early. He's been in recovery for a couple hours now. They'll be moving him to the ICU before the day lets up. So far, so good. Just waiting to see him.

Thank you guys n gals!

He was in a lot of pain yesterday after the surgery. I only got to see him for a total of 6 minutes throughout the day before I left around 8pm. They kept him in recovery til this morning and that limited my time. Going back down today. Hoping his pain is less today.

He was not a happy camper the first 20 something hours after surgery. He was in a lot of pain but settled down last night. He slept most of the night through without complaining much of pain. He is starving though and he is not allowed to eat at all. He has to lay flat for 3 days until the drainage tube comes out. He also wants to come home. He'll probably be in there for awhile as the dr told him he has to be able to eat, walk and go to the bathroom on his own with no issues before he is released. Maybe before the end of the week. He likes to defy the odds.

Hi Heather, We are holding up! He's going back to work on the 16th. He has a neuro appt on Tuesday. I am hoping hehis brain has not filled with fluid again! If it hasn't, I hope we can slam this chapter shut on this horrific time in our life! It's been a nightmare to say the least!

Glad to hear that you all are well and he's heading back to work. Probably nice to have a sense of normalcy, right? :) I'll keep the prayers going that his appointment on Tuesday will bring good news! Thanks for letting us know.
