Rotted coping releasing overlap liner into pool

Hello all. We had our liner replaced in 2016 after the grapefruit-sized hail punched a hole in it. We're now wondering if the installer used the old coping. After just six years, it is breaking off in pieces and the overlap liner has fallen to the inside, above our return. It started out small, but has now pulled over the pool wall in about a 24" section. It has a wrinkle above the return. The top rails (the two we've checked so far) are completely rusted - we are trying to find replacements, since Crown Pools no longer sells the Autumn Breeze 16x32. I think we can get overlap coping still and will do so asap. Is it safe for us to pull hard on the liner to try to get it back up and over the pool wall and secure with coping, should we find an installer to do this, are we stuck with having to get another liner and all parts?

Thanks!

Thank you, kimkats. Yes, the sun is always on the pool and with the 100+ temps, the water should be pretty warm. We are trying to find a pool installer to just come out and replace all the rusted endcaps, the crumbling coping and will go ahead and install new stabilizer bars as well. They are not rusted, but we'd feel better having new ones. This weekend and next weekend are out for us, so couldn't do it ourselves until after first week of July, which we feel is too long to wait. I'll check out the pool store you referenced. Thanks so much for your help.

Kimkats, an acquaintance did the repair this week and was able to save the liner for now. He drained below the return, removed the return and had to patch it because it had torn/stretched about 2" below the return. It's not a pretty job, but will hold up. He got the wrinkle out easily enough after that when replacing the coping. He already had the vertical caps - we only needed one or two. So we're taking our first dip of the season tonight! Just thought I'd update you. Thanks for your previous help!
