Hi All,

So we’ve had this heater for awhile and the past winter a rodent decided to nest inside. It chewed up and pulled down a fair amount of the fiberglass insulation on the inside of the firebox. Has anyone attempted to repair/replace the firebox insulation on one of these units? Looks to be batts held in place by bolts/retaining clips. Otherwise the unit is in very good condition.

I would see if I could find someone who is replacing theirs where the firebox is still in good condition. Find a donor unit.

Rats nesting in outside equipment can trash a unit.
