I'm looking for a robotic pool cleaner. And I'd like some advise and what has worked for you and where is the best place to buy one. I do have a local Leslies store, and at $1000 I need to do some shopping. and I would like anyone's input. I have 20x40 in ground vinyl liner pool. Thank you! Andy.

Whatever you get, get a Dolphin. Does your pool have a main drain? If so I'd consider an M400/500, if not you can get an S300/300I/Active 30/30i.

Since your budget is already in the ballpark high, go right for the top of the ladder like I did. Polaris 9650IQ sport. Could not be happier with it but I have nothing to compare it to. I just know I dump it in and come back 2 hours later and the pool is cleaned. I dump lots of dirt, leaves and bugs out of its vacuum compartment. You can control from a SmartPhone too.
