Robotic pool cleaner for tanning ledge / Baja shelf ?

Hello forum. I am nearly done building a 25,000 in-ground chlorine pool. It has a large sun shelf that will be 9" deep with steps leading down to the 3' deep shallow end of the pool. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck finding a robotic pool cleaner that can handle sun shelves. I know that most won't work in under 2' of water.

Your best bet is to just sweep the sun-shelf into the deeper water... I would not rely on getting a robot that will clean the sun-shelf..
