Can anybody provide any recommendation for a pool robot vacuum that could handle a tanning ledge of 9 in of water? I've tried out the wyybot C1, however it likes to flip over in the shallow water and it has a real hard time with My slightly L-shaped pool. I could only get it to work in floor mode only so it stays in the main area, defeating the purpose of the full pool cleaner.

My issue is that if I have it on walls and floors it makes its way up to the ledge and get stuck. I don't want to put barriers up and I don't want to do floor only mode.
Robots can only climb as far as their water intake is still under water. Mine will climb 2/4 steps routinely, but once it attempts that 3rd one and the intakes are sucking air...down it goes again.
A fast brushing of debris down to the floor solves the problem for me. You could also get a pool hand vac like the PoolBlasterMax.
