We have a pool - spa combo with spillover dam. During SPA usage we use valves to suck water from the bottom of the SPA through 2 x 2" drains, through Pentair 1.65 HP pump through Hayward S244S sand filter and the through Jandy Lite 2 heater and currently return through single 2" return located in SPA. Current there are 6 x 1" SPA jets with 1/2" venturi vents located just above each jet. The plumbing was initially setup with one 2" line feeding 2 x 1" jets and another 2" line feeding 4 x 1" jets. My question is with the filter and heater inline with the pump output, will the current pump drive all 6 jets or would I need a booster pump to get good spa operation. One option would be just to plumb the either of the existing lines...the 2 jet or the 4 jet and run it that way. Feedback requested...

This is one complete water loop from the spa drains through the pump, filter, heater, and return to the spa.

Welcome to TFP.

Are you describing here another water loop from a different drain to the jets?

Do you have one pump or two pumps now?

What are you trying to accomplish?

Each jet needs around 15 GPM of flow for a good spa experience. 6 jets will require 90+ GPM.

Your 1.65 HP pump cannot flow 90 GPM through a filter and heater.

Correct on the loop. I was trying to figure out the loss of GPM through the filter and the heater with a 2" line. The output of the 2" line return to the SAP has a Blue White F300 flow rate measuring 32.5 GPM back to the spa. Currently this is just a 2" open return. With that output, I could just connect the line that has 2 jets and have decent action with little cost...thoughts?

Why?
