Return line re-pipe

Hello everyone, I'm in the middle of re-piping my return line for my inground pool, (leak NOT located). I was thinking of adding a Tee and shut off valve coming off the Tee in the line by the equipment pad. This Tee would allow me to vacuum any residual water left in the line after pool closing. Would a vacuum be able to suck any remaining water in the line ?? Is this even worth it ??? Thoughts, doubts ?? Thank you.

With a decent vacuum or blower you shouldn't have a problem getting the water out of the line. As long as there isn't and significant height change a typical large shop vac should work fine. The other end of the line will need to be open to make this work. Photos would also help
