Return jet pushes solar cover

Hello, I have a 2 speed pump, when on high it pushes the solar cover to the other side of the pool. My understanding is that I need to run on high for the heat pump, and probably 10 hours or more a day (will find out when it actually gets warm outside). I used to chlorinate and run pump overnight (on low) but I’d it keeps moving the cover it seems like I’ll get more heat loss over night, so I’ll adjust and figure that out.
Anyway 2 questions, 1 how do I keep my solar cover from moving?
2 is there a way (would it be beneficial) to direct the return jet down towards the bottom of the pool?

thanks!

IF your returns are like mine there should be a ribbed ring around the outside. See if yours does. This ring will turn to loose the eyeball so you can rotate it to allow you to direct the water flow away from the top of the water.
