Retrievable auto-save of a partially complete thread?

I was writing a rather long new thread earlier but had to step away for a while before I finished. Of course, while I was away, we had a power glitch and the computer wound up restarting. Is an there autosave function that saved the part of the thread I had written earlier and if so, I'd really appreciate instructions to retrieve it.

There should be a button on the lower left of the text box that says something like auto save message. If it isn't there refresh the page and it should show up.

You can also "Go Advanced" and hit preview post once you get a little something written. It will save whatever you have. Do this again before you try to post it if youve been away from the page a while. Auto Content restore hasn't been working well for me either lately, but that will always work.
