Restoring 1yr old flagstone coping

We got our pool done last year in august? At the time the coping looked very nice. It now looks dull and worn.

I have bought some dry treat 40sk to seal it. Is there a way i can bring life back into the stone before sealing it?

Wow that is a difference...

Seems to me that the sealer is the problem.. Looks like it discolored and turned foggy...

What would happen if you sanded it???

I have no real clue as I am not much of a rock expert... My wife is.. at least it appears that way when you look at her fingers... :p

Currently on the tile search and I love your tile, can you tell me what it is?! Including the tile on the steps!?
Bummer about the flagstone, I don't have any advice, I'm surprised by that, we have flagstone near our pool and have no issues. But it's not right next to it.

I have searched and searched for threads about sanding flagstone coping but have come up with nothing. I think it would work, but would like to see if someone has done this before.

I could test it in a small area but i have one shot at this and i dont want to screw it up.

The tile we got at mastertile ( i will get the number when i get off work) and the steps are pool gemz made by pebbletec. They sell them in boxes of 20 for like $25 with installation.
