Resort Pool... Gross.

I'm going to Pensacola, FL the first of October, and the hotel has a pool. Wonder how cloudy it is, and whether we will want to swim in it!
Just swim in the gulf, it will probably be a little cleaner than that pool...LOL. That time of year the water is still relatively warm and most of the algae blooms have subsided making the water clear and a very beautiful bluish color.

The only ocean I like is in Hawaii where 40' down you can see the sand moving :)

We see a lot of dolphins at hilton head. The coast guard flys up and down the coast and somebody said they are lookinig for sharks because the smaller fish will school around them so it looks like a black spot swimming.
A cool thing Is myth busters did one on "are sharks really scared of dolphins" and when they put out the " fake" dolphin" the sharks stayed away..Pulled it in and the sharks came over for meat..They were even surprised
Odd, that's where I am right now.

I noticed that our neighbor's pool was starting get that "green tinge" to it last Friday yet they had a pool party over the weekend with no less than 10 cars parked in the cul-de-sac. Today, it's totally thrashed and looks like it was abandoned 5 years ago. I am sure I will see the pool company out there in the next couple of days to "fix" it.

If I can't read the production year on a silver dollar sitting at the bottom of my pool, I start getting concerned.
As a matter of fact, if you zoom in the satellite view, you can clearly read 1982 on it... :)
