Resilience E40 Replacement

I had a Resilience E40 SWG installed on my pool about a year and a half ago. The clean cell indicator was lit and I followed the directions (soak in 10:1 water/acid). It had quite a bit of scale but the cleaning worked well. I noticed the flow switch wasn't activating on my lower speed in my daily cycle so I removed to check the switch and noticed a couple of things.
  • The fins(?) were already accumulating scale again
  • They also had quite a few cracks throughout them that I didn't notice after cleaning and re-installation.
  • Flow switch was fine.
After looking at the cracking, I figured that the cell may not last much longer and started looking for a replacement which was almost impossible to find. The one I found locally through my pool contractor cost more than it did to have the entire unit installed which I won't pay.

I did notice the CircuPool CORE55 system and cell look identical to the Resilience E40. Does anyone know if this is a compatible replacement. At $850+, it is also a significant cost. I've also considered replacing the Resilience with a new controller/SWG that has more affordable cells. Though I do enjoy the ease of use, function, and clarity of this system. But the cost to replace the cell seems pretty high.

Welcome to TFP.

You can prevent scale in the SWG with the correct water chemistry.

It requires you having your own test kit. A TF100 Test Kits or the Taylor K-1006C and following TFP Recommended Levels

Thanks. Does anyone know if any of the CircuPool CORE services cell replacements are compatible with the Resilience E40? It looks like they are the same unit just branded differently. There isn't much info or user reviews on the E40 that I am finding.

Did you ever find out about this?
