Thanks! Good to know about orientation. I saw in the manual where it recommended hump down for variable speed pumps. My pump is single speed so I assumed that meant it was optimal to put it in hump side up like the rest of the instructions showed. I suppose it's easy to rotate if hump down is universally better.
I'm an idiot and bought 2 inch Ts to try and support my 2 inch pipe. It works, but if/when I do it over again, I'll get the 2.5 inch Ts. I think they will work better. I had to cut quite a bit off the top of the T to get the pipe to rest inside comfortably.
