So, back in late Oct. our large Jandy watercolors LED pool light died. Contacted builder and verified it was still under warranty. They contacted Jandy for the warranty claim and a Jandy authorized repair. A Finally, a repair person contacted me on Dec. 3. He said he should have some lights in Dec. 10 and he would contact me to schedule it to be replaced. Didn't hear from him. Contacted him yesterday and he said lights are trickling in (I get it with the shipping delays) but now he's telling me the water is too cold now to do the repair and wants to wait until spring. It really hasn't changed temp that much since he originally contacted me. I understand the water is a bit cold (about 50 degrees now) but I'm not sure I'm buying this. I think it's only one screw that needs to be removed and the rest of the swap can be done on the deck and then reinstall it again. I told him he can bring the light to me and I'll hold onto it until the water warms up since I'm not keen on waiting until March for him to get back to me. Am I being unreasonable?
Thanks

If they are replacing the entire light then they need to pull out the entire light and the light wire and then pull the new light wire through the conduit, coil the excess wire behind the light int he niche, and install the light. They don;t know how easy or difficult the wire pull will be and there is a godo chance they will need to get into the pool to get the new wire in place.

I think you will need to wait until the water warms in 2022.
