Replacing Jandy pump collar

The collar has cracked so I need to replace. Question is: if I cut the 2-1/2” off is there enough 2” left to run/glue inside new 2–1/2” with new 45 degree elbow? My gut is telling me nuh uh....If not, would love suggestions.

You may have to back up further away from the union to make a cut and add new pipe with the new collar. You may want to post a wider angle picture to see the whole layout.
