I have a very loud booster pump. From looking over several old messages, the main suspect in these cases is the bearings. However, I couldn't find any messages regarding successful fixes. Can anyone tell me if replacing the bearings is on the same difficulty level as replacing a pump seal? I've done that once successfully for the main pump.

Pretty easy. Go to a bearing supply house of replacement beatings and you’ll likely need a small bearing puller. autozone may have a rental tool you can use for free. Stay away from cheap chinese bearing, especially those with no name etched on them. You want skf, fafnir, toyokogo, etc.
