Currently running as 1200gph stock pump that came with the pool. Knew from the get go it was adequate at best and that we would just use it for the first season just to get things setup. Looking forward I was thinking going with the 3000gph pump and realized that maybe Intex is not what I really want for longevity sake and that I should really look more towards a Hayward. Does anyone know which model sand filter is equivalent to the Intex 3000 gph or should I go even larger? I'll also be converting both intakes to 1.5" and replacing the outlet with a more standard 1.5" to simplify the connections.
