update: The Pentair 350105S (almond) is an identical replacement for the 357294 (black) except for the color.

is the Pentair 350105S interchangeable with the 357294 ? They both look similar except for the tan color and a slightly different "fan" housing on the rear.

edit: I'm finding both the pentair 350105S and the 357294S, but I can pickup the 350105S locally.

The Sta Rite is about 10 years old. The part number in the printed manual is 357294s MTR 3.2KW PMSM VFD

And, besides the following items is there anything else I should replace while I have it apart?

itemqtypart numberdescription
91350108gasket intelliflo drive
101U9-228ao-ring
26237400-0028shaft seal viton
28117351-009slinger pump shaft 1/16 in

I know I'll need some seallube...

Thanks in advance.

That would take a bunch of research and we would need pictures, the manufacturing date and serial numbers to even have a chance of figuring it out.

There are several model changes that make it difficult to be sure.

You might be better off just getting a new pump rather than spending a bunch of time and money trying to rebuild this pump.

Posting back with the results. I picked up a 350105S local with an option to return if it didn't work, and it works perfectly.

Side by side they are identical except for color.

My reason for buying this model was the black version was hard to find actually in stock anywhere.
