I have a Laars Lite2 LD250N (250K BTU, Natural Gas) heater that has finally crossed over... It gave us 20 good years of service. What model would you all recommend to replace it with? Keep with same BTU rating I assume? We have a 20x40 with 6 ft deep end. TIA!

If you have the budget and the gas flow I'd step it up to a 400k btu.. it'll use the same amount of gas to reach the set temperature but just do it in a shorter time frame.

Get a Pentair MasterTemp 400 heater if you have the gas service for it. Or a 250 if not.
