Replacement for Hawyard Colorlogic 4.0 pool light

The light in my pool is a Hayward Colorlogic 4.0 (SP0527SLED100 120V) self contained unit inside a Hayward Niche. It failed after about 6 1/2 years of install with very minimal use.

I can find the exact part to replace it, but not sure I want to spend a $1000 on a product that fails this fast.

Are there any better built brands that will fit in the existing Hayward niche. I'm not sure the exact niche I have but the install manual indicates it should be one of the following (SP0600U, SP0607U, SP0604C, SP0609C).

I am willing to pay similar or even higher price as the hayward if the product will last longer and as long as it fits without modification in the existing niche.

There is no "Consumer Reports" doing long term testing of LED pool lights. All of the lights are too new to have much of a long term reliability record. We learn about short life failure quickly.
