Repairing coping tile grout lines

I need to redo the grout between several of my bullnose coping tiles. Is this a DIY project or am I going to regret not hiring a professional? What kind of grout is best for this? I’ve read several posts about expanding and nonexpanding grout and am confused. I do have an expansion joint behind the stones

Remove all the loose material then pack in pool grout.

The new grout color will be white and not match the faded white/grey of your old stuff.
