My automation isn't keeping time, a new board is about $1k . It is 11 years old, should I bite the bullet and get a new one installed? All Hayward equipment. What is the going rate on a new Hayward Automation setup? Opinions welcomed.

Just replace the board for $1K unless you want to upgrade to the new OMNIPL system.
I just installed it myself,(new board) fairly straightforward. Seems ok so far, just waiting to see if time holds current, pump comes on and off as scheduled, and cleaner does the same. Thanks for the advice and saving me the $$$ for elevated board price plus install.
