We are are the end of a long remodel. The PB just filled a hole that was made in order to find a leak. The hole went all the way through the spa wall. It was patched on Wednesday (11/9) and they will come back tomorrow to do the pebble finish. I've noticed some cracks in the repair, and am wondering if they will be a problem in the future.
I've attached three pictures that should help to understand the situation. The first is a picture of the entire area of the patch, with a tape measure for scale. The red tape is covering the housing for the jet. The second picture is a closeup of the largest crack, as viewed straight at the surface. The last picture is of the same crack, but viewed from roughly 45 degrees above horizontal. The crack is not very wide - I cannot fit a dime into it at the widest point.
Do any of you have an experience with patches in the gunite?
