Removing the POOLVERGNUEGAN wall connector

Hi

I am wondering how to remove this from the wall - I see a small screw in the middle of the tube - we used to have a Poolvergnuegan cleaner - but don't have it anymore and we want to use a pool skimmer in there. Sorry about the blurry image.
