Removing Anti Freeze when I open pool

Question, a friend helped me close our inground pool this year. We filled all lines with Pool Antifreeze. Once it is time to open, I know I can start the pump and filter to waste to remove the antifreeze from the suction line. How do I remove the antifreeze from my return lines? Our pool has a safety cover, but fills up with rain water over the winter. Confusing to me, I do not want the antifreeze to go back to my pool water. Thank you!

So long as it's pool or RV antifreeze it can go in the pool without harm. Some brands cause a little foaming at first but the chlorine will get it soon enough.

Being easy to remove, i get rid if most of it just because. I prime the pump to waste like you for the suction side but before I reassemble the pad, I blow the return fittings back to the pad with the exhaust port on my shop vac. It takes a couple of tries and gets most of it.

This winter i plan on making a screw on sideways U like extension for the return fittings that will shoot it all across the patio and into the yard.
