Closed on a vacation home in Fort Myers earlier this month and during the inspection process they found a crack in the tile line. Since it is a tight timeline; we want to get it rented in January we went with the pool company that has been maintaining it when we bought it without getting other bids. Don't know much on the specs of the pool other than 1.5 hp pump, spa blower, automatic chlorinator, Gulf Stream heat pump, and an Intermatic timer. Having a fully automatic Pentair system in Iowa that is one thing that was on my wish list. Pool company does both Jandy and Pentair but the Pentair has about a 2 month backorder. I decided to go with Jandy. Below are the tile and plaster repair bid and the Jandy bid.

Wanting automation below is the quote:

Wanting a salt system they came back with this:
We could do $1,395 for parts and labor to install a new salt system, the Jandy TruClear Trade Grade System, which has a 3 year warranty. Converting the pool over to salt would likely require 6-8 bags of salt added to the water which is ~$100 additional.
If installing at the same time as the automation, we could shave off $95 of the install labor since we're eliminating an extra service call visit there. If done at a later point, it would be that $1,395 price.
I not familiar with Florida installers, any thoughts on the above Jandy quotes? I really don't think they are out of line.
