Relation between pump run time and % that salt cell is set to?

Just came back from a 2 week vacation. Still working on dialing in a 4 month old pool. So I have my cleaner run from 9am to 5pm (I have solar electric) with SWG set at 40%. I have the high power in floor cleaner run from 9 to 11am then again 6 to 7pm before swim time. The pool is clean and other water parameters are good.

Which should I reduce? Or reduce both?

New build, 4 months old

Your CH is pretty high for a new pool; be careful to avoid scaling and manage your CSI to protect pool and SWCG.
FC is probably perfect but could also be lacking - your CYA could be 30 or 300.

No reason to run your cleaners that long....

I did not think the pump had to run that long either.

CH has been a challenge in Arizona’s hard water. I do top off with soft water.

I turned on ‘track CSI’ in pool math

I will test hard and soft water for CH and see what I can do to CH with a small water change.

Your FC is fine all the way up to 9. I don’t think there’s a fancy math way to dial it in as the demand changes every day. If it’s still creeping up towards 9, dial the % back a little. If it starts dropping significantly increase it a little. You don’t want the FC ever to get down to 2.
