So I have a lovely money pit…. I mean pool in my back yard. Girlfriend had to have the house with the pool.
We hired a local guy to repaint it and he did a Crud job. Now, we need a plan to refinish after pool season next fall. I know that one of the mistakes he made is that he didn’t remove all of the curled up loose paint.
I’m attaching some pictures of her in all her glory. Looking for suggestions. Sandblast? Epoxy? Paint? Tile?

Your pool looks to be a hybrid fiberglass pool. I would see about removing all the paint and having a new fiberglass finish applied. Either check local pool builders, or go talk to the guys fixing boats because they do fiberglass all the time.

Paint never lasts on a swimming pool. Ever.

Looks like a great pool with a <glee!> DIVING BOARD!! <my pool isn't divable, darn it>
