Refilling pool after new liner

So I'm currently refilling my pool after getting the liner changed. I decided to test my tap water to get a head start. I hear a lot that TA does not mater if your PH is good. Is that true because my TA is really high. What should I do. Also is there an order I should add my new chemicals? It a chlorine pool btw.

TA 1900
CH 300

I do not believe that TA level is chemically possible. Might want to run the test again.

Agreed, TA seems impossibly high. I’ve had issues with high TA tests before, don’t forget to wipe the dropper tip with a damp cloth between drops. That was my issue, wiped between drops, back to normal reading.
