Rectifier wire gauge?

I know they sell replacement rectifier kits for aquarite units, but does anyone know what gauge wire the split red and black wires are. Mine are looking a little ragged and I would like to replace them. Think it shouldn’t cost 60 bucks to do it on my own. Thanks!

Wires typically have the size printed on the insulation.

It looks like 14 AWG, but 12 AWG is better.

You have 2 wires, which splits the amperage and each will carry half the amps, so 14 AWG (90 degree C) will work.

Considering that the wires have been known to get ragged and burn might as well upgrade them to 12AWG.

Thanks for the help. My wires had the print worn off and the pictures I looked at specifically in the rectifier kits they sell couldn’t zoom in enough to read or were blurry. Thanks for the pics and suggestions. Will definitely save me some💵
