Received new Pentair Tank Mounted Pump 522474 to replace old, but nuts are for much bigger tube size?

Hello,

I just received a Pentair Tank Mounted Pump 522474 that I ordered to replace the old IntelliPH pump. But the holes for tubbing are way bigger than the 1/4" tubing and the nuts too!!. The kit came with more 1/4" tubing, no adapters. How am I supposed to connect the 1/4" tubing (a check valve came with it, it's also for 1/4")?

I found the flare fittings in another bag. Just for info, black goes to white, white to red vs the old unit.
