Recalibration attempt failed on Hayward Aqua Rite

Good eye - I set it it back in place properly and still no Luck... If I turn the desired output knob - the lights change from solid to flashing to off... and clicking starts again. Even when the switch is turned off - auto or super chlorinate. Very frustrating.

One pin goes through each white slot. The far right slot does not have a pin. There's a pin out to the left.

Pull the display and reinstall with one pin through each white slot.

The 7 long gold metal pins from the back board.

James - I am sorry but I don't follow. When looking at the photo of the board - where are these pins and white slots you are referring to? Are they the white plastic mounts that holds the board and display in place? The pin to the left? Can you refer to a marking on the Board. I don't mean to be so thick...[emoji848]

There are 7 white slots directly below the dial. There are 7 long gold pins that go through the holes. These pins provide power and data from the back board to the display board.

The display board sometimes has extra holes where the pins can go through that make it easy to misalign the board.

Make sure that one pin goes through each white slot.

James - I don't know how to thank-You! You have an awesome set of eyes my friend! I wish we were neighbours as we would be having a cocktail to celebrate right now!!!

I hope I can reciprocate at some point in the future. I wish you the very best!

Great job James, Jim glad to hear you got it going

It looks like you reused the little plastic leg covers. Just leave those out.

Ok - I will do that. I thought they were important as all the other videos online show these leg covers. I will remove and resaulder and let you know.

**** day job...

Just an FYI,

Those aren't leg coverings, they are actually spacers. Thermistors can get quite hot and the spacer insures that the thermistor is not installed too close to the board for 2 reasons. 1. You would not want it to burn the board; 2. To allow the heat enough room to dissipate. Leaving them off shouldn't hurt anything as long as the space is there.
