re-plastered with NPT Stonescape Mini Pebble and aerating to bring up PH to be able to bring down TA

So I just got finished with re-plastering my pool with NPT Stonescape Mini Pebble in Aqua Blue. Looks great and am happy with it.

However, they asked me if I wanted a pool startup for $600. I said yes, but when the guy came out he said he just balance the chemicals and scrub the pool for 2 days.
I cancelled the service, and got stuck with the $150 cancelation fee. :(

Anyway, I have a K2006 kit and tested the water. It initially had TA 150, CH 150, PH 7.8+ and Temp is 69F, 13,000 gallon Pool and Spa.
According to the NPC startup guide, I need to get the TA down to 80.
So I added 0.5 gal Muriatic Acid 31%, which dropped it to 7.2, then aerated for 12 hours, and it became PH 7.6 TA 140
again I added 0.25 gal Muriatic Acid 31%, which dropped it to 7.2, then aerated for 12 hours, and it became PH 7.6 TA 130
again I added 0.25 gal Muriatic Acid 31%, which dropped it to 7.2, then aerated for 12 hours, and it became PH 7.6 TA 120
again I added 0.25 gal Muriatic Acid 31%, which dropped it to 7.2, then aerated for 12 hours, and it became PH 7.6 TA 110

I just used the 2 small waterfalls and the hot tub spill over, which isn't a lot of aeration.

So, I have now created a few Aerators to help out. Hopefully it'll move up the PH faster, so I can keep adding MA and get the TA down.

Custom Bubbler:
I created a 1/2" PVC pipe square with holes in it, attached a weight to it, attached it to my air compressor and lowered the regulator to 2 psi.
I then dropped it in the 8ft deep end of the pool, and it looks like a fish tank bubbler. Problem is the air compressor runs every 5 minutes, which is noisy.

Sump Pump Sprinkler:
I also got out my sump pump attached a sprinkler head on it and floated it on a boogie board. I used my scrub brush pole with scuba weights to hold it in place.

I'm hoping it'll accelerate the PH up process. Will let you know!

TA is the least important of the chemicals you test.

A TA of 100 is as good as a TA of 80 for you right now. I would not go to any extreme lengths to get your TA down.
