Raypak "water sw open" after control board replacement

I'm getting the above mentioned error on our Raypak heater. This is after replacing the control board, as the old one's LCD module stopped displaying.

I understand the error has to do with water flow, however everything is fine...Good r flow to all outlets.

Tomorrow I'll replace the old board to be certain, but I'm wondering if anyone here had run into something similar.

Did you check the continuity of the water switch and see it is closing?

Also when you plugged the connector back in did you make sure that you plugged it in all the way and didn't inadvertently move over a space? Check the wires going into the connector to make sure they're not loose.

I went back to look at your suggestions, but decided to turn it on before pulling it apart, and guess what? It started normally and I was able to get the heater on.

I'm guessing there was an air bubble that finally got resolved.
