RE: RASH from Tahoe Blue - smooth as silk plaster
We’ve had our pool for several years, but we recently replastered the pool in April 2021. We have a salt chlorinator, and our chemicals are balanced professionally, both by the plaster company and our pool maintenance company.
I never had any rashes from our pool. I recently started using the pool, July 2021, so it has been several months since the replaster. Wherever I sit on the swim-step or benches, I have a terrible, burning, itchy rash. I’m female so my swimsuit exposes skin while I’m sitting. My husband wears long surf shorts, so he has not noticed the same problem. I don’t believe that it’s the chemicals, because I don’t have the problem anywhere else on my body. The rash is only where I have exposed skin sitting on the new plaster.
Hi, Central Ohio new pool owner, did your problem go away with time?
Thank you for any information you can provide.
