Ramp angle between shallow depth and deep depth

Hi pool guys.my question is about sloping angle(ramp angle) between shallow depth and deep depth of the pool.i have seen diffrent angles being used.is there any standard for the ramp angle or not?

It depends LOL How deep is the shallow end? How deep is the deep end? Will it be a diving pool? Any slides or jumping rocks? All of that comes into play for the angle.

We were told 7 feet for every 1 foot of drop.

1:3 is pretty reasonable. So a 9' long transition slope would drop 3'.
